This is not really in any particular order. And these thank you's are for this year and the people who were with me through this particular year [I really hope I haven't missed anyone!]

God, for carrying me through the really tough times. For showing me how to get the answers in life. And for giving me what I need and not what I want.

My family, for always being there.

Gopalji I am so blessed that you came into my life at the end of last year. You have been such a great friend to me this year, a true friend. Thank you for showing me the light when all I could see was darkness. And for giving me enough knowledge to change my outlook on life. Thank you for being such a wonderful caring Guru.

Ravi and Paridhi - Ravi for introducing me to the mission, if it wasnt for you I wouldnt know all these amazing people I know now [& if it wasnt for Thuy perhaps I wouldn't have met you :P]. And for being the only one of my friends who came over in December. Thank you for being such a noble person, throughout uni you were really one of the people I looked upto, and still do. Paridhi, thank you for taking the time to chat with me on msn earlier in the year. And for being such a fun and caring person. I always feel sorta at ease with you around :)

Every and every person I have met through Chyk! Before meeting you all, I would never have imagined such a wonderful, caring, and loving group of people could exist. There are too many names to name but you guys have become my second family and I am blessed to have you in my life! ♥♥ A special thank you to my Chyk class - you guys know who you are. You keep things interesting and are full of support during class. And thank you to all of the Sevaks at the mission including JC & Balavihar. You guys probably dont know it but you are my inspiration as people and as teachers, and I strive to be more like you.

Shelley, Sharmaine, and Aneurin! Shelley, you keep things interesting. Sharmaine, I love baking and just generally hanging out with you! I dont know why we didn't do this before! Aneurin, for always being there for me. Thank you all for being the constants throughout my year [and my life really - Sharms & Shells], for never letting me down, and for being the best friends a girl can have.

Thuy, you are the most horrible friend ever because I never see you! But I ♥ you! I hope we see more of each other next year.

Sharmika, for the morning texts and inspiration! You dont forget things like that, and I hope I see more of you next year.

Maryanne, for your random texts and love of chocolate! :) ♥

Kelly, for making those casual 3 hour shifts at work so much fun this year and for being such an inspiration! Likewise with so many people at wools! Most of whom I haven't seen this year, but I was very close with last year!

Ajay, Vas, Sunay and Amala - for the best roadtrip ever! And Vas and Ajay for being awesome friends! ♥

Kieran, because you were a big part of my year and you really helped to sort out a lot of things. There is more to thankful for than not and I am thankful that you came into my life.

Kiran I haven't forgotten to you. I've really enjoyed getting to know you this year, sorry I'm so bad at catch-ups! Thanking you for making an effort with me! :)

Sujee for officially being my oldest friend [in terms of how long I have known you, I have known you the longest]. My mum said to me recently that "Sujee is your friend". I think she meant something about destiny - that we would be friends in the long run. I hope she is right.

Rumina, Jamala and Natasha- for being my girlfriends. And for our random and awesome catchups! I wouldnt be seeing so many awesome new places and restaurants if it wasn't for you guys! And Rumina and Tash, thanks for being great friends through uni.

Pauline! For getting me into the gym!!

Elyse, Sandhya, Rajshri, Savi, Nikhil - for awesome random catchups! I really think I have the most fun when I'm out with you guys!

Meera - for random pancake meetups and Maccas! You have been a really great long term friend of mine and I hope to see more of you next year!

Nitya - for bringing us together before you left!

Kritika- for being my awesome train buddy during out Deloitte days, and for the job this year!

Lisa & Tobias For coming to my graduation this year and for being great friends of mine during uni. I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Alex For baking for me :) I hope to see more of you next year! :)

Steven S for being so great to talk with earlier this year, it really seemed like we were kinda in the same boat, and it is always love to talk to you! Hopefully I'll see more of you next year!

Andrew P for sharing that video with me. How did you know it was just what I needed to see? Thank you for making an effort with me and I really want to see you next year!

Ram and Keethan who will get thank you's in person.

To my loved ones who have passed away this past year, thank you for being a part of my life. Sometimes I feel that each of you took a part of me when you left, but at the same time I think you each left me with memories and inspiration. I have learnt so much from you all, I hope I can live my life as dharmically, selflessly and courageously as many of you did. I wont forget you, and I am truely blessed that you came into my life ♥

To Life, for being the greatest teacher of all.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolution(s), and will you make more for next year?
- I can never remember exactly what resolutions I made at the beginning of the year. But because of the events around that time I imagine it would have been something along the lines of; being more positive, being stronger, being less judgemental, and to not take life and people for granted. I think I faired quite well with a lot of these, but definitely room for improvement! And I think I will make new ones :)

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
- More consistency in my relationships [in terms of being able to spend more time with people and get to know them better and know where I stand with them] and closer relationships in some of them.
